Chef-Proprietor, Andrew,
is more likely to be found in the hotel kitchens - creating a
distinctive menu based on traditional English dishes and French
cuisine, and using fresh ingredients and local produce.
The menus are changed regularly to incorporate
seasonal produce, which is sourced locally.The Bell Hotel Restaurant has become renowned for
its cuisine, and many reviews have appeared in local and
national press, and good food guides.

Restaurant Opening Times:
Luncheon: Tuesday to Sunday, 12.00 noon until 2.00pm
Dinner:
Tuesday to Saturday, 7.00pm until 9.00pm
Children are made very welcome in the Restaurant, and highchairs
are available upon request.
As an alternative to formal dining, light meals
created to compliment the cuisine in the Restaurant are served
from The Bell Hotel Bar at lunchtime (12.00 noon until 2.00pm,
Tuesday to Saturday).
For late-arriving hotel guests, cold
suppers based on this menu can be served to you in your room (up
to 9.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday).
The Wine List:
The Bell Hotel has a large wine cellar and presents a
well-balanced and reasonably-priced Wine List consisting of a
varied cross-section of wines, both from the Old World and the
New - chosen with support from the Hotel's regular wine
suppliers, Lay & Wheeler Group Limited.
The Wine List has a
selection of around 85 different wines - including 4 House reds
and 4 House Whites which are also available by the glass -
Champagnes, Dessert Wines, French Armagnacs and Vintage Ports.
Prices range from under £10.95, to around £80.00 a bottle.
